  1. Full-Stack Engineer at RevisaTuCandidato.pe

    Feb 2026 – Jul 2026

    • Designed and built from scratch a civic-tech platform for Perú’s 2026 General Elections that aggregates verified background data on political candidates from 20+ government data sources into a single public site.
    • Built an AI-native conversational chatbot on a RAG architecture (PostgreSQL + pgvector embeddings and fuzzy search) with an intent-classification and tool-use LLM pipeline, integrating OpenAI and Google Gemini.
    • Developed the backend in TypeScript on Hono, deployed to Cloudflare Workers, using Drizzle ORM over PostgreSQL with Cloudflare Hyperdrive connection pooling.
    • Built the frontend in Astro + React + Tailwind CSS, with fuzzy candidate search, client-side PDF report generation and an admin dashboard for content management and analytics.
    • Ran scheduled Cloudflare cron Workers for live ONPE election-results polling, R2 for media storage, Docker for local environments, and Vitest/Biome for testing and code quality.

  2. Full-Stack Engineer at Canaria Consulting

    Apr 2023 – Mar 2025

    • Led the development of backend services using TypeScript and NestJS, including cron jobs and the maintenance of private Node.js packages, with Docker.
    • Migrated the frontend from JavaScript to TypeScript and built UI features with React, Vite and TypeScript.
    • Optimized and wrote complex SQL queries to improve database performance, and improved the performance of backend functions.
